Building calibrated AI to transform
Australian mining
CalibrAIte is on a mission to develop AI models that are specifically calibrated to improve safety, efficiency, and commercial outcomes across WA mine sites.

Miles Cass
Founder & CEO
I grew up in a mining household in Perth. The industry has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. After two years of building and innovating with AI, I saw a massive gap — Western Australia is the mining capital of the world, yet there is no AI platform specifically calibrated to how WA mine sites actually operate.
CalibrAIte exists for one reason: to build custom AI models that make every part of a mine site more efficient and proficient — safety, maintenance, admin, and commercial. Not generic AI. Models calibrated to your site, your data, your regulations.
Every person on a mine site — from the worker on the ground to the safety manager to the executive in Perth — should benefit from AI that actually understands their operation. That's what we're building.

DMPE regulations embedded in our AI
Australian AI mining safety market
Calibrated AI for every mine site in Australia
The mining industry is behind on AI adoption — not because the technology doesn't exist, but because nobody has built AI that actually understands the regulatory environment these companies operate in.
Generic AI tools hallucinate. They give confident wrong answers about safety regulations. That's not acceptable when lives are at stake. CalibrAIte is different — every model is calibrated against the actual DMPE regulatory corpus, every answer cites its source, and every output is auditable.
We're starting with safety compliance because that's where the pain is greatest. But the vision is bigger — calibrated AI models for maintenance optimisation, workforce planning, commercial analysis, and operational efficiency across every mine site in Australia.
What we believe
The principles behind every model we build.
Calibrated, not generic
Every AI model we build is calibrated to the specific regulations, conditions, and risks of your site. Not a one-size-fits-all chatbot.
Safety is non-negotiable
Every feature is measured by one metric: does it make mine sites safer? If it doesn't reduce risk, we don't build it.
Built for WA
Trained on Western Australian legislation, tested against real DMPE compliance requirements, designed for Australian mining operations.
Transparent AI
Every output shows its reasoning and cites specific regulations. Your safety team can verify and trust the results. No black boxes.
